A varied circular hike via the Ossiach Gorge Trail to the Tauern Pond.
Starting from the center of Ossiach, the ascent leads via the steeper Ossiach Gorge Trail to the Tauern Pond. The descent can be made either via the Tauern Road or via a more scenic trail back to the starting point.

By car, from Villach take the L49 (Ossiacher Landesstraße) to the parking areas in the center of Ossiach.
From Feldkirchen, you can reach the starting point by taking the B84 to Steindorf and from there via the L50 and L49.
